Such a good book! I love that it was fun but also had depth。 It seemed longer than it actually was (in a good way)。

Lauren and Will's story。California to Illinois journey taking in route66。 I live in Australia so I can't relate to a winter Christmas。 ( besides those who do Christmas in July )。 But, I whole heartily agree with Lauren about Christmas ( until the last pages she then changes her mind)。 I haven't had that change and Christmastime I can do without。 (The biblical birth is ok/good)。Courtney writes a good story。 I have her books and wait for the next。 Lauren and Will's story。California to Illinois journey taking in route66。 I live in Australia so I can't relate to a winter Christmas。 ( besides those who do Christmas in July )。 But, I whole heartily agree with Lauren about Christmas ( until the last pages she then changes her mind)。 I haven't had that change and Christmastime I can do without。 (The biblical birth is ok/good)。Courtney writes a good story。 I have her books and wait for the next。 。。。more

I fell in love work Lauren and Will’s story from the beginning and was cheering them on all throughout their road-trip back to their hometown。 It was a struggle to put the book down in the evenings and I definitely didn’t want this story to end!

What a fun story! I don’t normally read contemporary fiction or Christmas fiction, but this story was wonderful。 It had me laughing, gasping, and eager to not put it down。 And I didn’t。 I read it in one day。 I love how the characters grew as the story went on。 The author did a great job showing true depth。 I enjoyed the book and would definitely recommend grabbing a cup of tea, a fuzzy blanket, and read this book!

A wonderful love story brimming with humor, heart, and hope。 I devoured A Cross-Country Christmas, and I’ll likely reread it again ahead of the holidays。 This book is everything a Christmas romance should be。

Oh, please let me give this book more than 5 stars! It just ticks all the boxes for a lovely, emotional, and heart fulfilling Christmas tale。 I loved every single minute。 Just every word。 I was caught up from the beginning, and I love when that happens。 Walsh has outdone herself with this one, folks。 I burst into tears at one point and my poor husband was mystified at my crying。 Soon those tears that were rolling down my cheeks were dripping onto my shirt。 This one is most precious。 So many hear Oh, please let me give this book more than 5 stars! This was the coziest and loveliest Christmas read。 I loved every sweet second。 The enemies-to-lovers/brothers-best-friend trope was amazing。 I loved the dynamic between the two of them。 Their banter was fantastic and I couldn’t get enough。 This book had some depth mixed in with the holiday feels。 I loved Will’s character and how he has owned up to his mistakes and lives everyday to the fullest。 It was so heartwarming。 I also loved Lauren and how she had to step outside her comfort zone and grow。 This was the coziest and loveliest Christmas read。 I loved every sweet second。 The enemies-to-lovers/brothers-best-friend trope was amazing。 I loved the dynamic between the two of them。 Their banter was fantastic and I couldn’t get enough。 This book had some depth mixed in with the holiday feels。 I loved Will’s character and how he has owned up to his mistakes and lives everyday to the fullest。 It was so heartwarming。 I also loved Lauren and how she had to step outside her comfort zone and grow。 This was a lovely Christmas book that is equal parts funny and also a reminder that we need to live life to the fullest and not let out mistakes define us! 。。。more

This is probably the best Christmas book I have ever read。 Ever。 (And that cover? Love it!!)This delightful road trip is full of flirty banter, forced proximity, second chances, hallmark movie feels, realistic character growth, emotional depth, funny moments, and a beautiful message。 Lauren and Will's story instilled in me a desire to be a little bit better than I was the day before, to give a little more grace to myself and others。 Courtney Walsh has written an absolute smash with this book and This is probably the best Christmas book I have ever read。 Ever。 (And that cover? Oh my heart。I came into this book thinking it was going to be a simple and cute rom-com。 But y'all, it's more than that。 ❤️Is it fun? Absolutely。Is it adorable? A Cross-Country Christmas is a beautiful story of what can happen when Will and Lauren allow vulnerability and grace to seep into their trip home for Christmas。 I found Will and Lauren to be very relatable。 How often do we all find ourselves challenged by extending grace to ourselves and accepting it from Jesus? This book gave me all the feels of a favorite Hallmark Christmas movie。 Lauren hasn't been home for the holidays in years, and with good reason。 She's promised her brother that she'll make it home for the birth of his first child and reluctantly agrees to catch a ride with Will (her brother's childhood best friend & her former crush。) The two look at life in completely different ways and the cross-country road trip turns out to be a lesson in grace。 This book had me smiling from ear to ear and l This book gave me all the feels of a favorite Hallmark Christmas movie。 Lauren hasn't been home for the holidays in years, and with good reason。 She's promised her brother that she'll make it home for the birth of his first child and reluctantly agrees to catch a ride with Will (her brother's childhood best friend & her former crush。) The two look at life in completely different ways and the cross-country road trip turns out to be a lesson in grace。 This book had me smiling from ear to ear and later wiping away a stray tear that caught me off guard。 I wanted to resist the urge to read it before the holiday season, but patience isn't my strong suit。 It turned out to be a great book to read during any season of life and I'd recommend it for anyone who needs something light and uplifting。 。。。more

I absolutely loved this book! From the expertly crafted humor to the genuine and relatable characters, this book was just what I needed。 The cross country road trip that the characters were on provided ever changing opportunities for new scenery and new adventures。 It really took me as a reader along for the ride on this charming Christmas novel! Lauren was guarded and orderly and Will was all things kindness and humor! These two were just what each other needed and I loved the journey!
